The Calm & Capable course teaches a regulation based approach to alone time. This breeder program is the result of over 15 years of hands-on research with multiple litters, beginning as early as 10 days old. Mothers and puppies were brought into my facility so every detail of early development could be observed, tested, and documented in real time. This is not a single protocol or trend-based approach. It is a comprehensive early development system that integrates biosensor work, Early Scent Introduction, massage, puppy yoga, cognition development, and the intentional use of novel surfaces and water to shape temperament, resilience, and emotional regulation. Every element is designed to influence how puppies process stress, novelty, and learning long before traditional training begins. The program then seamlessly transitions into the full puppy training system I use today, starting at six weeks for pet homes and as early as five weeks for breeders. This ensures continuity between early neurological development and real-world behavior shaping, rather than treating them as separate phases. This course was originally created over eight years ago and represents the early framework of my training philosophy, teaching puppies through observation, timing, and reinforcement rather than force or constant cues. It focuses on helping owners understand how puppies learn, how to mark and reward desirable behaviors, and how to begin building communication from the very beginning. Inside this course, you’ll learn the basics of capturing calm behavior, shaping choices, early social exposure, and introductory crate and potty training concepts. It is designed to give puppy owners a strong starting point and a clearer understanding of behavior, without overwhelming detail. It’s important to know that this is not my full training system.
